World of Warcaft is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Blizzard Entertainment and published by Vivendi for Windows and Macintosh. The events in the game take place in the world of Azeroth, four years after the events that took place in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. World of Warcraft is the world's most played MMORPG with over 9 million subscribers[4] and as such as spawned one expansion, The Burning Crusade and another is on the way, Wrath of the Lich King.
