This page represents an aspect of the official policy of EncyClanPedia.

Unlike Wikipedia, we do not really aim to improve the credibility of our pages. This is merely because we cater to gamers, rather than to authoritarians. However, we do believe that sources are necessary should somebody decide to plagiarize material from another website, book, journal, etc. We personally do not condone wide-spread plagiarizing. However, we do see the occasional need for it in certain situations. Therefore, if you must plagiarize, you must re-write what you've plagiarized, and you must also cite a source for what you've plagiarized.

We aren't going to make this a difficult affair for people. We're not going to force people to type in thousands of characters of code, just to cite one source, so we're simply going to use Footnotes or References for sourcing. So please see Help:References for more information on how to properly use footnotes and references.
