This page represents an aspect of the official policy of EncyClanPedia.

On this page, you will find a condensed version of each one of the specific rules found on EncyClanPedia. Click on the specific rule or definitions in each one of the rules to see a more specific outline of the rule. Exceptions to the rules will also be covered in the rule-specific pages.

All official policies of this site will be contained within the Policy namespace and will be marked as protected by the site staff to prevent altercation.

Content

• This is a clan/gaming wiki, so no Unrelated Articles are permitted on the wiki in the EncyClanPedia. If you wish to discuss non gaming related items, we suggest you do so in the Total Gaming Network's Off Topic Section
• No articles about an individual (Vanity Pages); you can make a personal page for yourself using your user page.
• Other editors are not the Grammar Police. If you see a grammatical mistake in an article (or other such trivial mistake), correct it yourself, but do not hassle other editors about their writing style or speech style. This also follows the courtesy among editors rule.
• Remember that this is a wiki. Your articles become property of the public domain and can be edited by anyone.
• No illegal content is permitted. This includes warez, porn, CD key generators. This rule also applies to suggesting illegal actions.
• Plagiarism may be necessary, but it is also necessary that you Cite a Source when you do. Never outright steal a person's work (re-write it at least) and make sure you're giving them credit!
• Please keep the number of keywords down to three, and make them as diverse as possible.

Language

• The majority of users of the EncyClanPedia know English. Therefore, articles should be written in English.
• Please keep it clean. Any word that would be filtered on TGN is off limits here. Therefore, swearing is not allowed, even if it's on your own User Page, or Clan-Wiki.
• Neither racism nor bigotry is tolerated in any form on this wiki, and any uses of such language will result in an immediate block being issued against the offending account.
• No links to hacking or cheating implements or software will be permitted on these boards.

General Policies

• Respect the Staff. If you disagree with a staff member's action, follow the dispute resolution process.
• Respect your fellow editors.
• Don't feed the trolls.
• Don't eat the newbies.

These rules echo the rules of the Total Gaming Network forums and will be updated by the staff as necessary.
