Easy instructions

1. Make an account.
2. Type the page name you want into the search engine on the left sidebar. Make sure to type in the full name of the clan you want to add. If the page doesn't exist, thats perfect. You now want to click the red link that says, create this page.
3. Copy and paste the following code block at the top of your new page:

(Note: If the page already exists {Plenty of clans have the same name}, you will then have to contact one of the Administrators and ask for a Disambiguation Page to be made.)

Then, replace the (*Asterisks*'ed ) variable names with your clan's information. Once filled in, it should look like this:

When you're done, make sure to visit, The Clans Page and find the category that your clan page fits under!

(Say you play CoD4, and are a casual clan. Well you'd use Category:Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Casual Clans).))

You're welcome to belong to any and all the categories for games that your clan plays on! You can be both Casual and Professional! So don't hesitate to add extra categories to your whims!

Congratulations! You have started your clan's page. Now just add content (clan premise, rules, roster...) and you are well on your way to being one of our Featured Clans!

Also please note that nowadays we have a security system installed that protect Clan-Wiki's from vandalism. To take part in this, you will need to add Category:Clans to your Clan-Wiki page. Of course, once you do, this will lock you out of your own Clan-Wiki page. When this happens, make sure to contact either Dairuka or Webs961 for access to our Clan-Liaison program, which will allow you to access your own Clan-Wiki once it's been protected.

Of course, it would be far wiser to simply finish your page first, before adding it to Category:Clans.

Layout guide

For those of you who could use even more of a guiding hand in creating the perfect Wiki page for your clan, please read carefully on what we look for, before accepting a clan into the Clans Category and people into the Clan Liaison Program.

• Start off with an introduction explaining the basic summary of your clan. Make it interesting so that people will want to read through the impending wall of text to know more.

An example of an (A bad one) introduction would be:

Our guild has been around for many years now, having played through multiple games including Game #1, Game #2. We competitively play on Game #3, and have even won a couple championships on some ladders and leagues such as League #1. Since then we've gone on to casually play on Game #1, and you can even find members on Game #2 at the odd hours. Currently our leader is Leader #1, and has been for some time now.

What is your guild/clan about?

Explain to the prospecting recruits what your clan is all about. Inform them on information that you feel will be critical to helping your clan stand out of the crowd. Do you have a schtick? Do you all drink a certain type of beer? Are you always on at the exact same time? Are you all real life friends looking for more people to add to your little niche group of gamers? Let the people know, and they will find you looking for membership.

Clan Origins

How did your clan start out? This important tidbit of information should be a lot more than just a one liner after your clan's introduction.

Important Members/Former Members

Let people know about the history your clan has had over the years of it's existence. Are there important people in your clan that need to be recognized should somebody new join up? Maybe there are aspiring professionals out there that you feel deserve recognition for their efforts in making your clan famous. Perhaps there was even a little tidbit of juicy gossip that you'd like to throw in for flavor. It's up to you, this is your wiki afterall.

A List of the Games that you play the most.

This is probably the most important piece of information. Lots of players play more than just one game, and though they'd love to join a Clan that meets their needs on one particular aspect of gaming, it is nice to know there are clans out there that also play RPG's and RTS's as well as FPS's.

Achievements

Surely your clan or guild has done something noteworthy that you feel needs to be listed. Or maybe you just wanna add some random screen-shots that you feel are pretty neat. You can even upload your own Youtube videos now to your Clan-Wiki using the tag <youtube v="--Youtube Code--" />

Just remember to replace --Youtube Code-- with the code that shows up on the Youtube Link after v=.
