The HistoryEve of Terror was founded in May of 2000 by EoT.Patton, at the time known as (EoT)KiLLeR. EoT. has carried itself through many games in both a Casual and Competitive game play. The founder, Patton, started Eve of Terror at the age of, amazingly, 10 years old, inspired by (At the time), his 41 year old father who goes by the name EoT.RoosTeR on a school field trip. Almost 8 years later, EoT.Patton and EoT.RoosTeR are still highly involved in gaming and their founded clan, Eve of Terror, now in the game Call of Duty 4. The Past Games
Eve of Terror was founded in the game Unreal Tournament. We grew to roughly 40 members strong and used TeamSpeak as a form of communication. We were mainly a pubbing clan, did not have our own server but was well organized for being ran by a 10 year old. Was the beginning of a long but fun journey for EoT. who went undefeated in Unreal Tournament.
Delta Force Blackhawk Down by Novalogic was the next game Eve of Terror participated in. Some members stayed, many moved on as it was a big difference in game. We played Blackhawk Down for roughly 1.5 years before moving onto our next game.
Joint Operations was Eve of Terror's biggest accomplishment. We had a 100 Player server which was running custom maps made by EoT.Patton! The server and game was a big hit, we became very populated, our server filling up almost everyday, a feat that we never thought was possible but we kept our mind to it. Some of our favorite maps was an edited version of Twin Islands called EoT.Twin Islands, EoT. Long Road and the closest of quarter battles; EoT.Box which consisted of 4 buildings put into a square with a small patch of land in the middle. The release of Battlefield 2 signaled the death of EoT.'s involvement in JO:TR as Novalogic stopped caring for the game. We take pride in our fight against, at the time, the second ranked Joint Ops clan under dfl. as we lost 2-3, but would've won if EoT.RoosTeR did not shoot his own son, teamkilling him seconds before the match was over (TKOTH). To this day, the EoT's who were in JO:TR still bust on RoosTeR for his costly mistake. Was 1 of the 2 matches we lost in JO:TR.
PART 1: The many EoT.'s that became family in Joint Ops did not move into Battlefield 2 due to their computer not supporting it, a few going over to Iraq for war and some did not have interest in the large maps. We became a small 4 man clan for many months throughout Battlefield 2 till 1 year ago. -One year ago in Battlefield 2, EoT.Patton and EoT.Steele decided to join an, at the time, organized clan called =TSC= The Skull Collectors who ran a very populated 24/7 Karkand Server. Patton moved right up the list only weeks after joining to a moderator, and only over a week later, a co-leader and match commander due to his previous skills as a founder. Only 4 months later though, =TSC= fell apart as it became too big and too disorganized. Patton, who made a lot of friends in the clan decided it was time to recreate EoT. and make it a heavy hitting clan once again. PART 2: EoT.Patton and EoT.Steele were back into business and brought along as a Founder for EoT-BF2, EoT.maddogjj who, sadly, is no longer with us as work overran his free time. Many ex-TSC's joined EoT. as we dedicated ourselves as a 'family' clan, not a huge factory where nobody knows each other as =TSC= was ran. (Nothing against their ideas, but it did fail.) We got off to a huge leap getting 3 servers, (1) Private, (1) 24/7 Oman, (1) 24/7 Karkand. Players like EoT.Bill69288 were very dedicated to the clan and the 24/7 Oman quickly became a popular server having 24+ players in it every night. 5 months before the release of Call of Duty 4, EoT. planned to progress into COD4 and it was unsettling for some, who then left and created their Battlefield 2-only clan, called =COP=. The PresentEve of Terror in Present Day is now a Call of Duty 4:Modern Combat Only Clan. We consist of 22 Active Members and Recruits (16 Members, 6 Recruits) and are currently 7-2 in our Scrimmage/Match record for Call of Duty 4. Many of our Battlefield 2 players who have gamed with us for over 1 year now make up EoT. in Call of Duty 4! We are always looking for a good challenger. If anybody ever wants to scrimmage or match against Eve of Terror, feel free to contact either myself or EoT.Clipjammer. You can also find us on our forums from our website Clan EoT Website. Eve of Terror is always recruiting active gamers who want to have fun but also know how to work as a team. We are broken up into segments but no visual of it. We have those who Scrimmage/Match and those who enjoy playing in our Call of Duty 4 servers. If you are skilled, we want you. If you are new to gaming or just aren't top dog, we want you. Our main trait we look for is maturity and respect from our fellow clansmen and gamers, for that, we have an age limit of 18+ which we do not enforce too strictly. Due to EoT.Patton's involvement at such a high level in gaming since he was 10, we understand that gamers of all ages, young and old can be mature so we allow 16-17 year olds to apply for recruitment also, however, we watch over them more closely. Those under the age of 16 we are hesitant about, however, if you prove your maturity to us via Ventrilo and ingame, we may accept your recruitment application. Prime example, just ask EoT.Nubcakes, 14 years old and was accepted a few weeks ago - and we're glad to have him apart of this family of gamers. The FutureI, as the founder of this clan, am not worried about any dangerous low's in this clan in the future. After running this clan for almost 8 years, I can truly say I have seen clans rise and fall all around me, we have had affiliated friend clans who have fallen off the Earth while we stuck through difficult times and the hardest times, in my opinion, the game transitions. We hope that Call of Duty 4's amazing response to the gaming community will do nothing but continue to rise with activity and allow us to be a key participating clan in the game for years to come before we move on to whatever game comes out in the future that tickles our fancy. My participation in Eve of Terror will never die. I know many clans were their original founders are no longer around and they have gone through series of leaders after that, but I cannot see myself dieing out of gaming, as I do not see nor will allow Eve of Terror to die out either. Honorary Past MembersThe members who are no longer with us but will always be remembered as they left behind a great impact and great help to the clan as a whole. They are also great people, many who Patton still talks to today, and even some who Patton recieves Christmas cards from =) EoT.Swamo: One of our few original members from the Netherlands. He was active throughout Eve of Terrors participation in Unreal Tournament and was the first to create a website for EoT. All of our communication prior was done via MSN Messanger. EoT.Redneck: Redneck was truly that, a Redneck. Always made everybody laugh with his crazy stories that I dare not post publicly. He was with EoT. throughout the entire portion of Joint Operations before falling off the face of the Earth. Come to find out, his computer died as he is back online, hopefully back into gaming with EoT. soon! EoT.Arbiter: Cannot put into detail enough about how great this fellow member was. A very mature young man just over the age of 20, helped Patton through early High School and was, even though only a few years older, like a father to Patton. Patton, Redneck, Arbiter were a crazy trio who you could've seen awake past 4AM every night. EoT.LarkDog: May God be with you bro during your time oversea's! LarkDog is currently in the Air Force oversea's helping in the war as, I believe, a Staff Sergeant. He was another close friend of Patton's, their personal conversations were more about family and how things were going with his kids and such rather than just goofing around gaming. Truly a guy anybody would like. We hope someday he too will be back in EoT. EoT.DarkDragoon: I am glad to say he is now back with us as he was in Joint Operations, but now in Call of Duty 4. Almost visited Patton back in the Joint Ops. days via aircraft, just did not work out though. We are honored to say that DarkDragoon, now known as EoT.DarkAce, is attending West Point Military School where the true General Patton and many other great officers and Generals went to school. Do us up proud, and see you on the battlefield. (Online of course) Contact InformationThe following are the current leaders of Eve of Terror.
