Eve of Destruction is a modification for Battlefield 1942 created by the Eve of Destruction team, which is led by three Development Coordinators: Lotte, Trahn Lee Liao, and Wilson.[1] The mod features Indochina Conflict between 1946 and 1973.
Background
The mod was founded by Goetterfunke in 2003 to create a mod based on Vietnam. The name "Eve of Destruction" is inspired by a song written by P. F. Sloan with the same name.
When Battlefield: Vietnam was released, the team continued the work on the Battlefield 1942 mod as well as creating the mod for Eve of Destruction: Vietnam
The work on Eve of Destruction and Eve of Destruction Battlefield: Vietnam stopped with the release of Battlefield 2, but one member of the team continued with the work on the Battlefield 1942 mod to provide Coop play (i.e. bots) into the game. [2][3]
