Professional Clans

The biggest difference between Professional Clans and Competitive Clans is the mood. A professional clan goes well beyond the means of simply entering into a tournament, but actively pursue sponsors, and the highest quality of membership at every opportunity. Whether they take part in amateur, semi-professional or professional tournaments, leagues or ladders, a Professional Clan is a clan that plays solely for the glory, and for the prizes.

A clan could consider themselves a Professional Clan if:

  • They have a clearly defined hierarchical structure of leadership.
  • They have mandatory practices or competitions that all members are expected to take part in.
  • The competitive mood that goes well beyond the average clan's call of duty.
  • The sense of glory is important to the membership.
  • The clan takes part in contests that typically have large prizes.

What is this category for anyways?

This is a category that is specifically for professional gaming clans. If you do not belong to any professional leagues such as the Total Gaming League, or the Cyber-Athlete League, then you will be removed from this category and placed into the Competitive Clans category. Make sure to list it on your clan page, which professional league you belong to! Please list yourself in the correct sub-categories, so that people can find a professional clan relating to their favorite game much easier.

Yes, we also accept people who are part of the "Open" or "Amatuer" leagues as professional clans, you don't actually have to win money or belong to an elite league to be considered a professional clan here, but you must belong to a league to be listed here.
