Community Clans

Community Clans are not clans in the traditional sense of the word. Yes they've come together to play, mod or write about a specific video game together - but the mass majority of members already belong to other clans. Often times community clans come to existence only from the rag-tag formation of small forum, website or blog communities.

A clan could consider themselves a Community Clan if:

  • The clan has no definable leadership.
  • The clan's membership consists of members from other clans
  • There are no real long-term goals
  • The clan was formed from a forum, website, or blog community.

What is a community clan anyways?

A community clan is typically a clan that does not play any specific games. In a sense, they could be considered Off-Topic, but since this is still a clan that consists entirely of gamers, they can still be considered a gaming clan. In short; this is a category for clans who are not able to specifically determine what type of clan they are. Off-topic clans can also be listed here.
