EncyClanPedia Offers
How do I get started?
  • The EncyClanPedia offers a rare Wiki experience that caters to Clans! Create your own Clan-Wiki and use it to advertise your clan to prospecting members!
  • The EncyClanPedia offers never before seen security measures that protect Clan-Wiki's from vandalism, via our Clan-Liaison system. We also prevent anonymous IP's from editing Wiki-pages! This is so our patrons' fears can be put to rest, knowing their Clan-Wiki pages will be safe! All they have to do is add their clan-wiki to Category:Clans and get access to their Clan-Wiki by contacting one of the Administrators. After that, only that clan's Clan Liaison can edit their page.

For those of you new to using MediaWiki, I'd highly suggest to all of you to visit, our Help Page for information on all topics.

For those of you new to the ECP, I'd suggest visiting these pages to get familiar with MediaWiki:

For those of you just looking to add your very own Clan-Wiki, please refer to our Clan-Wiki Guide. Remember to only add Category:Clans after you're ready to submit your Clan-Wiki to our Clan-Liaison program, or you'll be locked out of your page. If you've added Category:Clans to your wiki page, contact Dairuka for access!

Why? I'll tell you why.

Quoted by Dairuka, on the EncyClanPedia Forums

Everyday there are new guests coming in and out of these forums, and quite frankly, I feel they're cheating themselves on a wonderful opportunity to join up with the crew here at the Total Gaming Network.

If the community itself isn't enough to lure you to register, what about the following?:

  • A Photobucket-style Album. that allows you to upload 1.3mb sized pictures with a resolution maximum of 1,280 x 1024! - You can also upload up to a thousand pictures, which makes it about ten times better than what the other picture hosts offer. Especially flickr which is capped at 200.
  • Access to a project management, and time-scheduler for modders which allows you to show your fans what you're up to, or if you're just a fan of mods, it allows you to keep track of what your favorite modders are up to.
  • Access to your very own free blog! which is nothing short of nice for those of us who need to rant and let off a little steam. Considering our community is pretty big, you're bound to get a bunch of replies - which is a huge step above loneliness in some random blogger site.
  • TGN's Arcade! Seriously. If you think you have to skills to beat TGN's best - you better register and prove it.
  • TGN's Casino! - For every post you make on TGN, regardless of where you post it, you earn $1 towards your account, which you can use to digitally gamble for fun in TGN's casino. Be careful though, it doesn't take long to lose your shirt, but don't worry - you can always earn it back by posting more!
  • TGN VIDEO! Quite literally the coolest feature about TGN is the fact that you can upload all of your best videos of pwnage in your favorite games. The upload process is easier than dealing with Youtube, and theres no restriction of what you can upload. (Within reason. Don't upload porn.)

So seriously people! Register today for the EncyClanPedia forums! Take some time to play around with the and helpful tools! Stay to talk with the ECP and TGN community! Don't forget that the Total Gaming Network has buttloads of gaming forums that can meet the needs of almost anybody. Including those of us who like to spam in the Off Topic Section.

And for the Call of Duty veteran looking for a place to call home? Yup! You guessed it. TGN has a huge Call of Duty 4 forum community!

So there you have it. Check out the EncyClanPedia Forums today, and make sure to register! TGN and the ECP have plenty to offer!

About 150,000 page views on the EncyClanPedia in two months.

Yet, we only have 458 pages, and only 20 people out of 148 who have actually contributed (Not including Clan-Wiki's) to the site, with literally three people being regular contributors.

There is certainly something wrong with this picture. How come we're so exceptionally popular, yet nobody is willing to share the wealth of knowledge with us? We've had over 20,000 visitors in one month alone, so why are so few willing to help out?

Is it because nobody knows how to build a Wiki page? Well, now there are plenty of Tutorials out there on our Help Pages.

I'm absolutely befuddled to know why people are so unwilling to contribute to our website. If you appreciate the work that the ECP has done so far to bring you useful and important information, why don't you show it by registering with us, and tossing up a Wiki-page on a game that hasn't been added so far? You could even toss in a tidbit of information on pre-existing Game-Wiki's. Heck, tell your Clan-mates about us, and get a Clan-Wiki set up! Maybe you could even add a fan-wiki of your favorite game characters like Call of Duty 4's Captain MacMillan, or Captain Price. I mean, they're completely ignored on Wikipedia, and even Call of Duty 4's Wikia site. So why not give them the fan service they deserve here? It's a great way to gain experience using MediaWiki.

Are people afraid that their information won't be appreciated, or that it'll disappear into obscurity? I can almost guarantee you, that the ECP is not going anywhere. The Administrators of the ECP are especially appreciative of their consistent contributors. We'd absolutely love to add more people to our Trusted User program, which nets you a shiny green name on the Total Gaming Network Forums as well as the EncyClanPedia Forums. Trusted User status also nets you access to certain protected pages that other users aren't allowed to edit. Thats why it's we call them Trusted Users - Also note, that Staff is recruited from people in our Trusted User pool. So there is always a chance to advance if you're dedicated enough.

As for us disappearing? Not even possible. We're here permanently as a part of the Total Gaming Network, and we're only going to grow in popularity as the days go by. I mean seriously, 20,000 visitors in a month is huge for a site thats only been up for two months. We're not obscure anymore... so come on, chip in today, and become a part of Internet history!

Sonic Boom does not affect bullets

That was a painfully clear typo left on the non-Assault Rifle Info Databases, which were copy and pasted from the original Database. That original database had a goof up of mine pitting Stopping Power and Sonic Boom on the same terms... This mess up of mine somehow turned into an internet sensation, opening debate and speculation across the board.

Let me be clear about this. Sonic boom gives 25% damage bonuses to only explosive weapons, including the RPG, Grenades, Grenade Launchers, and Claymores. Not bullets. No gun is ever affected by this perk, unless you count the RPG as a gun.

Furthermore. If you happen to run into anything that doesn't look accurate on the Database. Please leave a message in the Discussion area for that article. (You can do it anonymously now.) It'll allow us to further investigate, and to correct or provide proof for things that don't look right.

Patch 1.5 changes absolutely nothing for weapons

Sorry to say, but to those of you who're upset about the Damage and Recoil bug for Silenced AK-47's, you'll be sorely disappointed. Patch 1.5 changes absolutely nothing in all of the weapons. I will be checking for the Database's accuracy. You'll notice that things have been changed if at the bottom there is a link to "Previous Versions" of the same gun on a different patch. Too bad I didn't get to do it this time around, would've been a nice extra feature. I don't really want to go back before 1.4 to find all the values for the weapons for earlier versions, so that feature'll just have to wait until patch 1.6. - If Infinity Ward ever decides to fix some of the weapon bugs next patch.

Weapons Explanations, and Pistol Stats have been added

Sorry for the late update people, but sadly time has been very constrained for me recently. I'll definitely continue to do work on the Call of Duty 4 section of the wiki. Mostly I'll be expanding on the database, by adding "Sway" information and "Run Speed" information. How I'm going to organize it will be a problem... but I'll find a way. Look forward to more updates soon.
