The MP5 an abbreviation for Maschinenpistole 5 (once known as the HK54), one of the most well known and common sub-machine guns, is a fully automatic weapon which fires the 9mm pistol round. Generally used for medium range combat, the MP5 is sometimes preferred in close quarters combat due to the small size. The variant in COD4 is the MP5SD, which houses a sound and flash suppressor is available in the singleplayer, a flash/sound suppressor can also be fit in the multiplayer game.
