Support Machine Guns
Machine guns works quite differently than the rest of the hand-held weapons in BF 2142. While other guns lose accuracy with each shot, the machine gun will gain accuracy. This simulate the effect of suppressive fire from real world machine guns. To prevent the machine guns from becoming too powerful the also have a unique disadvantage in the form of heat. A firing machine gun will fill up a heat bar and then need to let it cool down before it can fire again. Skilled gunners will balance the two traits by firing in short burst that keeps the accuracy at max, but prevents the gun from overheating too quickly.
