Battlefield 2142/Park 54 Sniper

The stock sniper riles have long been the preferred weapon of most snipers. They are quieter, have a larger magazine and a wider FOV in the scope than the unlockable Zeller sniper rifle, although they do not do as much damage per shot.
Sniper Rifles in general
The sniper rifles of BF 2142 can kill with one shot to the head. To tone down that power they are handicapped by "scope sway" which are not found on other weapons. The effect of this is that the zoomed view moves slightly on its own, but in a predictable way so skilled snipers can still hit accurately. The stabilizer unlock allows to freeze the movement for a short duration.
