2DEATHFrom EncyClanPedia
The History2DEATH was formed in August 2006 by Recoil and some friends, originally intended just to be a social clan with no aspirations. There were no plans to ever become a real clan. The team carried on playing together and more members asked to be part of this 'group'. Soon, they realised that they could gather up the funds to purchase a server and make a real clan out of it. Recoil took the post of Clan Leader, supported by four people who each took a role on. A website and forum was launched, and finally in November 2006 a Battlefield 2142 server was purchased. The server opened lots of new doors; matches, training sessions and public recruiting was now possible. The reputation of the clan grew, and we were now one of the top clans around. Some criticise us for playing our first match so late after the start of the clan, but we got off to a flying start by winning the first macth on 3rd January 2007. The PresentWe are no longer a team of friends with a clan tag. All the previous leaders have left, leaving only Recoil. We are now a team of friends with a passion to win, and a never ending determination to improve. The clan now plays three games; Battlefield 2142, Call of Duty 4, and Counter Strike: Source. These are handled by independent Divisional Leaders who make sure that the high standards of the clan are maintained. Each time has two nights dedicated to them in the week, whether it be for Training or Matches. Training sessions are planned and each one has an objective, so something is learned every time. The FutureI, as Clan Leader will never give up on this clan. It has grown into something I would never have expected. It's gone way beyond my wildest dreams - it's something now that I would have wished for only a year ago. I will continue to work hard for, and push forward the clan; 2DEATH. We want to be known as a clan that never gave in, a clan that fought 2DEATH. I am very lucky to have the close support from Deputy Clan Leaders, Divisional Leaders and members - they all contribute to the smooth running and the bright future. - Recoil Special HonoursThis section is intended to inform visitors of some of the people who have served their time with us as a member we are proud to have. The Clan Leaders, and Members would like to thank all of the following people for their support in making this clan what it is today: SpaceManHobo:Sean was the Deputy Clan Leader for about four months. During his time he revolutionised the tactics that we use, and did an amazing amount of 'behind the scenes' work for the clan. Clan Training was one of his primary targets, and he worked hard to make sure that the standards of the clan were of a very high level at all time. Sean was a friend to many of the members, a friend to the clan too. Sean also made considerable financial donations to the clan during his time with us. KIMB: Ollie was a man with so much personality, he sometimes had to be controlled! He was without a doubt one of the funniest, outgoing yet dedicated members we have ever had. He spent so much of his own time on the clan, doing Tactics inparticular. Unfortunately, due to problems in his personal life, Ollie had to leave unexpectedly and we haven't heard from him. We wish Ollie the best of luck in life, and we hope on day he will return. He was an extremely valued member of this clan, and he will never be removed due to his long term commitment and dedication.
